“A city is, in a sense, the extent of the people who inhabit it. It Should therefore fit people, the decision to “how to dress your city.” But a few times it’s like that. The struggle of those who “live” the city in full (because it needs it) is different from the indifference of those who decide (politically) how to dress the city. This disagreement between who “is of the city” and who “sends in the city”, can also be the subject of an artistic and photographic look. But deep down, and still good, people stand out. I Think this is what this work is about: looking at water, dust, buildings, houses, contrasts, there is a photographic voice here that makes a point of not forgetting people. ” (Testimony of the writer Ondjaki on the exhibition The fight continues).
